CornHacks aims to bring some of the most talented developers from around the Midwest to join in a weekend full of hacking. Hosted at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, over 100 participants will code all day and night to be judged by industry professionals and compete for several prizes.

Eligibility

Individual Participants

All participants must fill out the CornHacks entry form to enter. Team members must be current college undergradute students (over 18 years in age).

Students need not be in teams already; we will have an opportunity to meet other students and form teams at the beginning of the event. You can come with a team formed already as well (teams will have 4 members).

No prerequisites (experience, hackathons), and no monetary cost.

    Does the project (attempt to) solve an important problem? How effective is the project at solving this problem?
  • Innovation / Creativity
  • Completeness
    How complete is the project. Assessment of project fidelity.
  • Cost / Benefit
    Cost / benefit analysis of project and its effects.
  • **Followed Track (Optional)
    Teams can choose to pursue a specific project track.
  • Software Engineering Practices
    Scalability, good code cleanliness, comments and documentation, etc.
